Thinking about how to give this Tuesday?
You’ve been meaning to become a member, today is the perfect day to join!
We are thankful for the community that we are surrounded with, whether that be local folks in the Oxford County area, artists in Maine, people who drive hours to come to our events, and people across the country who value what we are doing. Lights Out is dedicated to being a safe space for people to come together and share their art, lives, and time with each other.
#GivingTuesday is a day where, in this season of spending and consuming, people come together to foster resilience and kindness through generosity and mutual support. In a time of division across the nation, where systemic individualism puts people at odds with one another, building and supporting hubs of welcoming communities is more vital than ever.
Becoming a member of Lights Out is not just an investment for yourself, but an act of paying forward to foster a greater community. We are dedicated to Lights Out being a physical and ephemeral space for people. For people with less access to public art to see new perspectives, for artists underrepresented in Maine to get the spotlight they deserve, for kids who haven’t been to summer camp get a chance to make new friends and discover new crafts.
A little goes a long way, for just $10 a month you can help support what we do and the people who benefit from our growing community.
