Opening night last Thursday was full of energy despite the snowstorm earlier in the day. The room buzzed all evening with warm welcomes, exciting introductions, thoughtful conversation, and a mutual love and appreciation for the arts in Maine. Thank you to everyone who has come to see the exhibit. We hope to see more of you throughout the month. We will be open 11:00a - 5:00p every Friday through Sunday until April 2nd. A reception will be held from 4:00p -6:00p on Sunday, April 2nd to close the show and give special thanks to the exhibiting artists.
“I don’t recall ever being to an opening quite like the one that heralded “3,” the pop-up show put on by Norway-based Lights Out Gallery at the third-floor Frank Brockman Gallery in Brunswick (through April 2). I was very familiar with the work of two of the four artists in the show (Lynn Duryea and Oliver Solmitz), and found the work of the other two (Lynne Barr and Mark Little) wonderful and surprising.”
